CEO Anthony Mixides represents UK vapers with Hugo Rittson Thomas exhibition

The UK vaping scene is already having a significant impact on the smoking industry and the way in which the public has grown to value their health. But the future is even brighter.

The success of vaping prompts an important question, primarily regarding how the UK of the near future will integrate alternative tobacco products. The UK has introduced lenient, and generally liberal, controls with regards to the industry, avoiding the strict legislation that other governments have seen fit to implement.

The public has responded to vaping extremely positively, leading to the introduction of new sub-cultures and social identities. With this, it looks like vaping is here to stay.

Hugo Rittson Thomas recently, and graciously, asked our CEO, Anthony Mixides to join him for his new exhibition looking into the socio-economic dynamic of the UK. Capturing various figureheads and prominent individuals from around the country, Hugo aims to create a visual record of what makes the country tick.

Hugo is well know for his stunning photography, depicting captivating portraits of Queen Elizabeth II, David Cameron and the Dalai Lama to name just a few.  His 2014 project, The Queens' People, created a striking collection of formal displays of the modern British Monarchy, and the vital backbone that keeps it running, from military to clergy members.

His work has been featured in exhibitions across the country and in 2015 had a Sunday Times special edition dedicated to his work.

We were proud to participate in the project, and while the exhibition has no set date as of yet, we highly encourage you to keep a close eye on Hugo's webpage to check out his stunning collection of work and find updates on the event.

We would also like to extend a thank you to Reaz, our own personal cloud master, who accompanied us on the day of the shoot. Using his perfected cloud styling, he assisted in the fittingly cloudy shoot! Check out his Instagram page to see this pro at work!
